Membership
BasOp welcomes new performing or singing members at the start of its concert or show seasons. New performing members are welcome early in each new year for the show itself which is presented in late May or early June, and in early autumn for the concerts that are held at the end of November and early December.
Membership of BasOp is available separately for those wishing to participate in shows or concerts.
Those entering membership for the first time may be required to pass a simple singing audition.
A small annual fee is payable depending upon the class of membership to be entered into.
The societies' main rehearsal night is Tuesday evenings.
From time to time it may be necessary to restrict the numbers of new memberships available in order to contain the size of the company within the capacity of performance venues available to us.
